HI,

I have a 99' RX300. It seems that whenever the weather gets warm, I have trouble getting the engine to start. It will catch when I turn the key but dies immediately. I need to hit the gas a couple times to get the idle to stay up. After that it is fine.

Anyone else experience this and know what exactly it is?

sounds like it might be throttle related or a fuel pump

no warrenty left?

cheapest and easiest fix

try cleaning the throttle body and a fuel injector one also
