I have a '99 rx300. Last summer, it would idle very low or die whenever I would start the engine. I would have to start it a couple times or continue to hit the gas until it would catch. In the winter, the problem stopped so I thought it was a temporary thing. Now that the weathers warming up, it's doing it again. Anyone else experience this? How much was repairs? Any input would be helpful.

Can anyone tell me how much a tune up and timing belt costs on a 99' RX300? How often should I have these services done to my car? Thanks for the help. - Michael

HI, I have a 99' RX300. It seems that whenever the weather gets warm, I have trouble getting the engine to start. It will catch when I turn the key but dies immediately. I need to hit the gas a couple times to get the idle to stay up. After that it is fine. Anyone else experience this and know what exactly it is? - Michael
