bigjay850
Hello everyone, This board is great! I wanted to see if anyone had experienced braking problem. On several occasions my brakes on 99 GS300 failed. During low speeds @10mph when you brake, it seems the car jumps at the end. There are some complaints on NHTSA site, but does not have any resolutions. Has anyone experienced this and is there a solution for this. Thanks P.S. Here is the link for the site where you can search for a complaint on a paritcular car http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/cars/problems...laintsearch.cfm
bartkat
Try this link. Input your car specifics and you can find out if there are any Lexus technical service bulletins. http://www.alldata.com/

bigjay850
Yes, tha's exactly the problem I have. Is ther a fix for this? Thanks
GuyTelefunken
Yes. But it's expensive. Buy a new car. I haven't tried a new Lexus to see if they still do this. Go test drive one and let us know! As I said before, why a system that imparts this clunky operation was put into such a smooth operating automobile boggles my mind completely.
