rocketman
I just bought a 2000 AWD RX300 and love it so far. I noticed that there is a button just above "Park" on the gear shift and can't figure out what it does if anything. I don't have the owners manual and am curious as to what it is for. Drumrboy
Oh, OK. I think your talking about the OD Lockout button. If thats the one it keeps the car from going into 4th gear. If you push it, You will see the OD off light come on. J>
Unlisted
on top of the shifter is the shift lock button. it should have a cap on it. if you need to shift the car into gear and dont have the key it can be done by holding down the white button under the cap

wolfie212003
I thought that was either the hyperdrive button or the passenger eject button. Boy, I learn something new about my RX everyday.
