WeatherDon
I don't quite know how to phrase this but I'll give it a try: On my '96 SC400 at low speeds, say around 30 mph if I step on the accelerator then let off I get a small but noticeable "thunk" coming from the rear end. Is this normal?
jzz30
sounds like a diff mount or a bushing in one of the rear arms. take a look or have it checked out.
llama
I have not looked at the driveshaft on this car, but it could possibly also be a u-joint ( or similar).
jzz30
yea the other week i had to change one of my customers drive shafts on a passenger van because it broke off because the u-joint was soo worn.
