2002 Es300 Paint Proplem

Called my service manager about a continual problem with the paint chiping off my 2002 black Lexus es300. The paint is chiping everywhere. The Lexus Regional Manager told him that Lexus does not reconize this as a problem because they do not put a clear coat on the car and I can expect the paint to chip off. The service manager told that another owner was in today and the regional manager told him flat out that its the owners problem. I like to hear from others with the same problem. I can't believe no one out there has the same problem.

I have a mil. silver 02 ES. There are rock chips but no more than what I would see on any other 45k mile 02 car. Sorry if this doesn't help.

I will see my aunt this weekend. She has a black 02 but drives very little.

She does live near the beach so I will take a look at her's and let you know if she has a reasonable amount or more.
