silvermate
yeah i heard it gave really great shine, i almost used it on my detail last weekend but decided against it..........the reviews on the endurance of the product were at the bottom of the list,,,,ie....only last 2 weeks or less...... and in the summer down here in the south i personally need something that was more durable. pics look great though :D let us know in the future how long you find it to last. exdotcomer
I will- I tried Meguiar`s NXT Generation Tech Wax and was not impressed- it doesn't remove the fine scratches that Nanowax did.

WOW, i guess i'll have to try some of that, and seal it up with another product what kind of paint prep did you do?
exdotcomer
Very little prep- as I try to keep the paint clean to make future washes and waxes easier and less time consuming. I do the basics for prep work ... clay and Meguiar`s Scratch X. I washed it with Kitt Wash with Carnauba Wax- great soap. and then spot checked any area that needed more care (clay, scratch x) then applied the Nanowax. I've been doing this for a while, and I have to admit this is the easiest wax session ever. Wash and Nono- that's it. Takes me about 1/2 - 2 hrs from start to finish. As a matter of fact- thanks to some free time, this was the second day in a row that I waxed it. We may have to go every day this week. It's like my therapy session. LOL. It will definitely need it on Friday, my car goes in for a brake service. They always leave finger prints all over the car after serveice. ALWAys! SW03ES
Niether one will remove the scratches. The nanowax simply hid them, in a week or so they'll be back. You need to abrade the paint to remove scratches, no wax has enough abrasives to do that by hand. NXT CAN remove scratches when used with a buffer, as can cleaner waxes but not by hand. I've not used it but the detailers that have seem to feel its like most other consumer products, looks good for a week then the look fades. I just waxed mine with Poorboys EX-P their new pure polymer sealant and was very impressed, going to do a 2nd coat of Friday then I'll post pictures. silvermate
swo, keep us updated on how long the poorboys sealant lasts.......i'm after something that gives longer durabilty...... down here in the south, it gets rediculously hot and humid (rough on paint job), especially dark paint.......i've been trying out different products, to get my own results.. have 2 coats of high tech yellow on right now (haven't used it b/f)so keep us posted........and i'll do the same
