customrx
The mass-air-flow sensor is attached to the large intake hose on the back side of the air filter box and has a electrical plug going into it with I think 4 maby 5 wires..
bluestu
I purchased one today and was wondering how difficult it is to install and if there is anything to be cautious of when installing?
SKperformance
whyd did you get one it is as easy as changing an air filter with a flat head screwdriver
bluestu
I had the codes checked and the mechanic told me that it was the mass air flow sensor. He said it was real dirty, cleaned it and told me if the check engine light came back on that I would need to replace it. It came back on almost immediately so I purchased a MAF off of eBay for $20. I put it on myself. It took a total of 60 seconds. That has got to be the easiest part to replace that I have come across. I cleared the codes by unhooking the battery terminals and my RX300 runs much better now. I would like to thank everyone who gave expert advice on fixing this problem
