gremio
I bought a pair from AutoZone store and when I installed one side the struts seems to be frozen from inside and I wasn't able to compress it. My hood almost got bended and the struts wouldn’t work. I returned that pair and purchased another set from a different store in a different state. The second set seems to have the same problem ant they got returned as well. Should I try a third set or what?! My hood now is supported by one old bad strut. srgilbert
I guess my first question is if you have used the correct number. You may want to revisit the thread to get that number. From what I remember I was unable to move the shock on its own. When the shock was mounted properly the hood was just the right weight to push it down. My replacement went smoothly -
