  1. Hello all, I'm about to buy a 99 RX300 but how can I tell if it is a FWD or AWD?! Does the AWD have 4X4 all the time or you shif manually whenever it is needed?!
  2. Problem found exactly as you guys described. Check the attached picture so you can see what went wrong: Many thanks to Lexus Owners Club members
  3. Thanks, I found the link. http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index...=24822&hl=hinge
  4. Whenever I hit on the brake (Park or Drive mode): - The Instrument Cluster lights go off - The "R" Reverse light on the Instrument Cluster lids on - The RPM kick up while on "D" (Car thinks it needs to go in reverse) !! I have unplugged the battery cable for resetting but that didn't help. It sounds like there is a short somewhere!! Please advice? Thanks, 91 LS400
  5. Attached is the before and after for the CHROME GRILL Inserts Kit that I got from eBay: autogrilles
  6. Try this one: http://www.lexls.com/tutorials/audio/subwoofer.html
  7. - A/C was working fine last summer, compressor used to make loud humming sound. - Now days, when I pushed the A/C button, I didn't notice any extra load on the engine, and there is NO cold air blowing. Usually the RPM level changes as soon as you turn on the A/C (A/C light does NOT blinks) - Alternator got replaced in winter time. Q. - Do I need to charge the A/C? - Is it possible that wires got lose while replacing the alternator? - Could the compressor have gotten bad due to the old humming sound?! Any feedback would be appreciated

  9. Link to the adjustment screw hidden under an aluminum plug on the front side of the unit: http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index...wtopic=4518&hl=
  10. Anothere same prob on my 91 - Some of those AutoZone shocks might be bad already. I guess I'll try PepBoys shocks next time.
  11. I bought a pair from AutoZone store and when I installed one side the struts seems to be frozen from inside and I wasn't able to compress it. My hood almost got bended and the struts wouldn’t work. I returned that pair and purchased another set from a different store in a different state. The second set seems to have the same problem ant they got returned as well. Should I try a third set or what?! My hood now is supported by one old bad strut.
  12. Does anybody know what went wrong in this picture?! Found it in eBay, Item # 4500426970 for 90 LS400 with a DAMAGE in the DRIVER SIDE!
  13. Reset your ECU before you go for testing!
