steviej Posted June 7, 2004 Posted June 7, 2004 If you get a 3-4 inch rash from the curb on a chrome rim, what do you do? I was told to put a good layer of wax on the area to at least help the water shed off this area. It's not worth sending the wheel out for rechroming, so that is not an option. steviej
SKperformance Posted June 7, 2004 Posted June 7, 2004 wax wont do anything if it is going to peel it will , winter is the major problem summer is fine it would be more effective to use some clearcoat and a q tip
steviej Posted June 7, 2004 Author Posted June 7, 2004 they are summer rims and the clearcoat was what i was thinking. thanks Sharad. steviej
