91ls400 Posted June 4, 2004 Posted June 4, 2004 I just got my car back from service at the Toyota Dealer, I had them check out the braking system, $30, and I forgot to give them the special tool to remove the locking lug nuts. Did the dealer rip me off and just bs the whole brake check or did they use their own special tool, do they even have one? Am I wrong in thinking that they needed to remove the wheel to check the brakes?
Lexusing Posted June 4, 2004 Posted June 4, 2004 No, they have a master key to all locking nuts. I wouldn't worry about it.
jzz30 Posted June 4, 2004 Posted June 4, 2004 yea they have a set of masters. i lost mine or costco lost my key when i had my tires changed and well just went over and had them change it. it seems they dont even use your personal key in the trunk
