I bought this ls400 8 months ago and relaxes so much parts but couldn’t figure out what is wrong with the car at this point. I already replaced cap and rotor, wires, plugs both coil packs, alternator, ecu capacitors, fuel pump, fuel tank due to being rusted and having a small pin hole, fuel filter twice, crankshaft sensor, main 02 sensor, hollowed cats. It turns on runs fine and after a little bit will sputter and not accelerate I turn it off then back on while driving and it’s fine for a little bit before doing it again.

The first thing you should have done is to look at all the codes. That would be easier if it has OBD II and not OBD I which flashes to indicate a problem area. Simply guessing and buying parts can be very expensive. You might want to spend $150 to have an expert look at it. That way, you'll have enough information to determine if the car is worth fixing.
