I just replaced my fuel tank. I had to much presure in it causing it to leak at the rolled seam. The problem was the charcoal vapor canister. I replaced it also and now the presure is fine. I spent 640.00 on the tank and 280.00 on the canister and put them in my self.

I have a 93ls400 with 123k. When I got it with only 60k about 6 years ago all I have done is general maintenance. I have replaced the gas tank but only because it did not replace the charcoal vapor canister in time.

I am trying to find the fuel tank vapor canister on my 93ls400. Any suggestions as to were it might be and what it might look like?

Thank you all. I did not have any luck with lexus web. sights. I like the idea of refinishing it myself. If that doesn't look professional then I will also try to find them on E-bay. Thanks again.

Does anyone know of a place other than the dealer where I can get replacement caps on my 93Ls400. The silver finish on all four caps is pealing off revealing what looks to be plastic.lacanls400

I did replace the front shoes and turned the rotors about 5mo. ago. I thought that solved the problem but soon after, like a week it started wobbling again. If you press harder on the brakes then the wobble goes away. Difinitely a wobble. Not pulling. lacanls400

First of all I really injoy reading this forum. I have had several question answered already by reading other post. My question is that I have a front end wobble when I am using my brakes. Generally when i'm slowing from say about 50pmh or so. I thought it was my front rotors that needed to turned. What is confusing to me is that under the exact same circumstances some times it will wabble and some times it wont. If they are warped then they should wobble all the time under the same circumstances. Right? Thank you for your help. Lacan93LS

Recently my 93LS400 developed a fuel leak in the gas tank. First thing I did was to replace the gas cap,because it seamed like thier was to much presure coming from the tank when I took off the cap. Then I pulled the carpet back in the trunk because of the concentrated smelland found a small leak. I patched it with a fuel tank repair kit. Thought it was fixed. It's not leaking but the smell is bask. Anyone have any ideas? Thank you Larry
