  1. Mine is overfilled by about a quart when the dealer does it. I have pumped it out through the fill tube via a hand pump. Why does the dealer do this? I wonder if its the way they flush. Someone told me that they flush through the radiator coolant lines. Anyone know?? Ferd
  2. Please try 'steve.marrone@att.net. This is my other address however the first one should have worked. Thanks Steve
  3. did the same thing to mine, however, as a final step I used a tan colored shoe polish to fad in the lines. Looks completely gone. If yours is completely gone now obviously leave alone, but if you can see the lines, the shoe polish is what pro's use to cover. Ferd
  4. VMF, thanks a bunch. My email is 'mossyoak@att.net'. I have been reading about the mods you are making. Sounds like your LS400 is primo. BTW, I am originally from the Bronx. FERD
  5. On the Website I use for my 300ZX nissan, they have a on-line motor/shop manual. I dont know who or how, but maybe someone can put an on-line LS400 manual on this site. I will try to find out how its done. HOpe the management reads this ( Just what they need ,,,more work!) Ferd/
  6. After my 45k service done by a Lexus dealer. I checked my fluid level and it was a quart too high. I took out a half a quart via dipstick, and still there is I guess an extra half quart. On American cars too much fluid caused bubles and will cause damage. Is this the same with my LS400. Ferd
  7. I am looking for a published process to the above change or at least how to check the belt and what to look for? For one who knows how to do, maybe they can publish a full publication with pics. That would be nice, and very helpful. It takes work but would help many. Ferd
