My 2007 RX had the same problem a month ago. It started with the AC light blinking and warm air coming out. I phoned the dealership to let them know that I was bringing it in. In the 4 miles that it took to get to the dealership, the engine started to make a clicking noise, as if a belt were loose. Two blocks from the dealership, the whole engine started making a horrendous amount of noise. When I pulled in, oil was splashing out of the engine. The oil-line had basically exploded. My car spend the next 3 weeks off and on in the shop. My lease is up and I'm turning it in. I hope that Toyota/Lexus recalls this flawed part, as I have been reading about it happening all over the web. My regular mechanic, as well as the mechanic of another friend are both familiar with this problem. Did your noises go away? Mine still has some strange new noises since last month, and Lexus has replaced the oil line, the cam shaft and some gears. so is there something we should be looking at on our 07 350's???, head off disaster at the pass so to speak??

well that explains why they are not out there to buy, I thought it was a software download. So when the 9.1 comes out someone will sell me there 8.1 :D (hint/hint)

does the disc have to stay in the Nav unit ?? and where is it on my 2007, there is a vague picture in the manual but it is confusing.

wow , let us know how the dealer handles it, they should just give you a new one :D ( of course that is my opinion)

On the GEn 5 Nav , will any update for lexus/toyota work, there seem to be a lot on ebay and less than the 250 the dealer charges

is this going to be under waranty, seems like it should

thanks, yes have run into the same , tells me to go straight, and last time I pointed into a river , I guess the bridge was moved

so I have version 5.1, can I just go with the 7 or 8 version or do I need to upgrade in order?

Love the car, 50K on it but drives lke new, certified and gauranteed to 100K. I notice a little flair into 1st ,is this normal, never drove a car this smooth Also trying to load phone book from my mobile into nav system but not having much luck Well really just want to know what others think of this year and model. I am very impressed so far from dealer to driving. Ron
