  2. Thought i need the key to activate the lock, my mistake, i never used it before. I will try your idea tomorrow and see. Thanks.
  3. I went to the store the other day and bought some expensive stuff and put them in the trunk of my car('90 LS 400). Before i left my car at another store's parking lot, i turned off the trunk lid opener system inside the car by inserting the car key inside the trunk lid opener switch and pushed it in ( located under the dashboard on the left side of the driver's side) so that the trunk cannot be opened from the inside since the lever cannot be pulled. Protect the valuables, right?. Well, now i am unable to unlock the trunk lid 0pener inside the car. I tried inserting the key inside the trunk lid opener switch but would not turn either way. The only way i can open the trunk is by going outside the car and using the key. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
  4. Many thanks. Had 3 replies and all 3 are dead on. Worked on the trunk hinge wiring right away and sure enough the white wire was broken. Fixed it and the problem was gone. If only you guys are nearby. i would buy you all 3 a dinner.

  7. Hey guys ,I'm a new member and need of some help. I own a '90 LS 400 and everytime i turn on the light switch, the reverse indicator on the dashboard lights up no matter where the gear shift is at. When i'm driving and i turn on my lights, the car will not go past 20-25 mph and feels like it's dragging. The car runs perfect as long as i do not turn on the light switch. Also, the reverse lights stop working. Could this be related? Thanks.
