  1. Here are some pics. It took alot of detail but not necessarily difficult work to get it right. I did have to separate the connector from the wires on the HID kit, drill a hole in the cover of the OEM light housing cover, run the HID kit wires through the hole (the kit comes with a grommet that helped out a bunch), reconnect the wires to the connector on the HID kit and then install everything nicely.

  2. All,

FWIW if any of you are interested, I'll post DIY pics of the dvd speed sensor and hand brake override if you so desire. It allows PASSENGER viewing of dvd and inputting of phone numbers while in motion. I don't have NAV so i can't comment on whether or not it'll work with NAV. Let me know if you would like the DIY guide.

  3. If you are referring to the embelms on the outside of the car, you don't need to remove the interior panel. The emblems are attached via tape and, after being heated with, say a blow drier, can be removed by using dental floss. HTH

  4. Andrew,

No experience with the SC yet. As far as the bulbs are concerned, depending on which bulbs you change, it could take a couple hours. I mean if you change the reverse light and door light bulbs, you'll have to contend with the panels etc. Not a tough job at all though. HTH

  5. Thanks for the props. I haven't installed the S/C or the exhaust. According to my source "they" are still working out some minor details. Guam doesn't get the NAV option. The lights were acquired through a source in Central America. The housings fit perfectly but the alignment of the bulb receptacle to the housing is not the same. I had to do a little modification to the housing and relocate the contacts to get it to work. If you are at least a little electronically inclined, it is a 2 on a scale of 1 - 10, 10 being hardest.

Here are some recent pics of the latest mods...enjoy

  6. FINALLY! Here are some pics. The anticipation is finally over! 20x9.5 HRE 648R full polish with 295/45x20 Pirelli Scorpion Zeros! I'll post better pics later. Just thought I'd share these for now. The decision was very tough but I couldn't be happier with the 20s. My GF loves them. I have to say they are perfect. Wide to the flared wheel well and enough sidewall to keep the SUV look and feel and to protect from curb rash. Saturday I will install the TRD performance air filter.
