I need to raise my 98' GS400 for two reasons . 1.) I'm getting tired of my car hitting the ground because of dips and crack roads and from just leaving my drive way. 2.) I'm looking to put some new shoes on her and im not sure if its possible to do while my car still sits low. i wrote a post simular to this awhile ago and people looked at it but couldn't help. I'm just asking if anyone knows of a website or anywhere i can get stock springs or if theres any aftermarket springs that will raise intsed of lowering my ride i will REALLY! appreciate it. THNKS

Man i just chipped someone today a little bit nothing serious at all but some exchanged paint . but on my bumper there's a line of chipped paint which is eventually gonna come off. i was wondering since i was planning on getting a detail done to my car soon to remove my little scratches do they apply the touch up paint or do i have to do it myself b4 hand ?

really depends on the bulb maker, like whose making it. phillips bulbs gonan be ALOT more expensive than some korean made bulb or something like that... here this is phillips price for ONE, yeah just one bulb http://www.kbcarstuff.com/Philips_4300k_D2...p/pb-d2r-4k.htm i got some oem bulbs for sale if you want them. p.m. me for a price so you are saying 1 bulb at the cost of $168 maybe including s/h plus labor should cost around $232 ? because thats what i payed to have one replaced? should i go and get them to order the same one ? ps. i called to see the style and stuff they gave me d2r the bulb tyoe osram the manufacture product number: 9098120007 i have no idea how to look it up can you maybe find a bulb that matches that ? to see if i can get a better deal ?

does anyone have any idea how much HID bulbs should cost because i need some and i had this problem when one of mines went out and i got charged from the place i get my body work done at $168+ labor . inoe for a fact that one bulb doesnt cost that much so i asking around to see if anyone noes any websites that sells quality HID bulbs for a reasonable price?... WHEN I BOUGHT MY 1998 GS400 I WASNT USED TO DRIVING A CAR THAT SITS LOWER THAN USUAL AND NO I GOTTA PAY THE PRICE FOR ALL THE POT WHOLES I RAN INTO AT HIGH SPEEDS AND BACKING OFF CURBS..... WELL ANYWAIIZ I FOUND OUT THAT I BROKE SOME PEICES ON MY ENGINE UNDER COVER WHERE THE SCREW GOES IN AT AND NEED ANOTHER ONE AND ON TOP OF THAT DOWN THE ROAD IM GOING TO NEED TO REPLACE MY BUMBER BECAUSE ITS warped and wont be on line if i get it clipped back in . SO IM ASKING DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY GOOD WEBSITES WHERE I CAN BUY A UNDER COVER AND A BUMPER ? AND WHAT WOULD BE A DECENT NOT TOO PRICEY COST FOR THEM ? THNX....

but does that affect the light at night ? because its completely off when my head lights are on. i remember touching that so im going to re adjust it .

Thanks to everyone who helped me on my last post ... sorry i havnt been on this for awhile to thank yall cuause school and stuff. but yea i have a problem that i had no idea of and have no idea whats causing it. the light that lights up in the dashboard to show me my speedometer doesnt work . i mean it cuts on very dim when i cut my head light off but at night when i need my head lights its black. what does that mean? i was thinking i need a new battery or something?... i called my machanic and he said something about if its something i forget what that its a !Removed! to get to from what i was understanding it cost alot to fix can anyone tell me whats wrong? thnx guys....

Ive Posted this Aswell but didnt really think people would read all of what i had to say and actually reply so im hoping you could give some advice...... On MY 98' GS400 My Back Tire On the drivers side keeps losing air . its been like a month since i bought the car and i had to fill up the tire twice. WHAT DOES THAT MEAN? Im new to owning a car so im not sure if its the tire or me Because im 6'5 310lbs... do i need a new tire? should i replace all the tires ? what would be best for this situation? P.S. im also thinking i need new brakes because im getting close to having to floor it for a complete stop but then there are days when i dont have to (whats up with that) and im having this shaking problem when im on the highway with my steering wheel after speeds of 60mph is that a sign that i need my wheels rotated and balanced? my car is also lowered and as of now and sits on 17' inch Stock Rims, im also planning on buying 18' inch deep dish black rims for my car by summer time but im not sure if i should worry about these things what would be better to do? A.)jus deal with it untill getting my rims? because wouldnt that be cheaper to find a spot that gives you a rim and tire deal and have them install the rims ? rather than buying tires and having them install em, later buying the rims and the tires needed for best fit for the rims? B.)Get the service done and replace the tire ?( Im not going to be driving it much since school starts next week and i live 3 blocks away)..... thanks for your help

My GS400 in the front on the driver side my bumper is a little bit loose like i can see the plastic thing that holds the screw its there but not the screw. and now my bumper on that side jiggles slightly like very lightly no much ... i went to Lexus where i stay at and this one dude said that when that has happend im going to have to buy anuther bumper and theres nothing there guys can do about that bumper. Anyone Plz if you have any information on that plz let me know because i dont want to buy another bumper , I JUST BOUGHT THE CAR!!!!! last month( its a 98').......

window vents i think they are called im not sure . but i mean the tinted plastic on the outside of your car that is clipped onto the side windows . i think i made it easier to understand . lol....

Hey Im New to this and i just bought a 1998 Lexus GS400 Black On Black.( Pretty Clean After Having @ Owners Before Myself) My whole thing is i want my car BLACK!!! like Rob And Big Black . If anyone noes what there SUV looks like, i want my GS simular to that. So Far I already got my windows tinted a few days ago 5% on all the back windows and 35% on the 2 front windows Next to do Is My Tail Lights..... The thing is i need help trying to find some of the things i want for my car and suggestions because i want to have an idea of how the final product will look before i cash out on the things.... The Problem is i dont know a whole lot about cars since this is my first and all (I'm 20) For Rims: i want like a Black with chrome trim Deep Dish type of rim 18' since my car is already lowered but have no idea which one would look good on my car since i never seen them on a Lexus i only see them on Mercedes.( Any Suggestions?) AND IM LOOKING FOR BLACK WINDOW VENTS FOR MY CAR IVE HAD NO LUCK WITH THAT ONE BECAUSE OF THE MODEL AND ALL( ANY WEBSITES OR SUGGESTED STORES THAT MAY HAVE THOSE?
