  1. Based upon the other posting about installing trailer hitches on the 04, I do not think that there is a power module needed. There is a plug located under the driver side rear compartment that matched the factory supplied wire harness that came with the hitch. Was the power module stock with the car or was it aftermarket?
  2. I have checked the fuse box, and according to the layout chart under the lid the fuse is installed and looks good. I fear a factory defect in the wiring. :(
  3. I have had this happen before, however only on occasion. It is a problem with the gas nozzle and not your car. If it happens on all the time and on all pumps, I would consider the advice of jgr7.
  4. If I am not mistaken, you can tell by looking in the drivers side doorjam. There is a black sticker that indicated the country of origin.
  5. I have the same car and have installed the front plate holder myself. I think that the indentations line up plastic inserts behind the bumper that the screws go into, however all that needs to be done is the sheetmetal type screws that came with the plate frame need to be lined up with the indentations and screwed in. Holds like a rock.
  6. I just installed a factory receiver hitch with wiring harness on a 2004 RX 330. The vehicle was not originally equipped with the optional towing package. All of the installation went great until I checked the plug for power. It appears that there is no power to the plug located under the storage bins in the rear of the vehicle. Is there a step I am missing? Thanks in advance for any information.
