Just a thought. I have a cable connected to the audio jack in the console and I have the cable coming out where I connect my iPod. The console door has enough of a gap that it closes just fine on the cable with no problems. I thought maybe the cable would go quick but it's a 2007 and the cable is still working fine.

I tried my Iphone and it wouldnt work for some reason, my nokia N95 works great on the other hand. I had both the 1st and 2nd generation Iphones and they both pair just fine. The BT system does have echo most times. I would not buy it again. I now use an in-ear unit.
