I have researched this unit and understand that you must create playlists to see artist info etc.. I believe that you are able to control IPOD through both NAV screen and steering wheel controls. VAIS tech dept is very helpful they reply quick. I was all set to purchase the unit until I heard that a new VAIS product is in development that integrates video signal to NAV screen ( on the web site but not due until later this year)

I had the same concern and went with 22's. I still love the ride and the look of 22's in my opinion is way nicer. I have photos on my other PC and will send if you want to see.

My wifes car is 00 GS300 and is using Akuza Sublime 218 rims/19 x8.5 and 245/40/19 Tires. No fender mods, no rubs even w passengers. Am real happy with this setup

I installed aftermarket spoiler (oem style) 2 mos ago and: I tapped into two prong connector in trunk lid and it works fine. I have disconnected oem 3rd brake light on rear deck and also have warning light. Warning light is as a result of system sensing a voltage drop, same as if you blew a bulb. I am told that installing a capacitor in the line that supplies to oem 3rd brake light will correct this but thats as far as I got. I dont know what type of capacitor to install or on which wire etc. If anyone knows specs on capacitor, I'm all ears

Thanks for the input. At this point, I have CHMSL (factory LED) disconnected, I simply disconnected the oem connector. The factory harness has 3 wires, do I need to wire a resistor into oem connector, if so which wires??

I have 00 GS300 and would like to upgrade to current NAV software. Is dealer the only source for CD/ DVD Do I need to have them install or are there instructions w/ software?? Thanks

Thanks TT619... I did replace burnt bulb w/ oem and I used factory wing light coupler for power instead of tapping a brake light line. Could disconnecting deck mount LED coupler cause comp to sense voltage drop?

I installed aftermarket factory style wing on my 2000 gs300. I tapped into factory 2 wire harness for wing LED and it works fine. I burned out one trunklid bulb while testing wiring and relpaced it I disconnected the factory coupler on the factory LED on deck and am now getting the idiot light for burned rear bulb. I even reconnected factory LED on deck and idiot light stays on. Any ideas on how to correct this?
