guys: for those of you who bought a 'Platinum' Lexus Extended Warranty 7 yr / 100K miles for GS300, how much is it? My GS has couple more months of factory warranty and I am thinking about the extended warranty. also what does it not cover that a brand new Lexus factory warranty cover? (want to know the difference between the two)

For those with GS3 (second gen) If you hold at around 70 mph, what rpm is it at?

correct me guys if i am wrong: isn't touch up paint thickness will cause some small bumps (depends on the touch paint size) on the painted area? i meant it won't result in a smooth painted surface?

newbig400: did you refer as 'leap forward motion' as pop? if so, have your dealer update the ECU...I am not sure if this applies to GS400 98 also..but this could probably solve it.

Guys: Just curious if there is anyone in Atlanta (who owns GS) who's willing to test drive my GS3. I felt that there's some road noise on the gas pedal and flooring (driver side) especially on a non-smooth road. Brought it to few dealerships; they check the heat shield, body plugs, and test drove it and all came up with the conclusion that it's normal. I thought it was much smoother before.
