Just received my 3 recall notices in the mail today for my 2007 IS250 RWD. One is to replace the fuel delivery pipe(fuel rail), the 2nd is to relube/add grease to the slide pin seal area on the rear brakes and the 3rd is to replace the electric power steering link assembly. These repairs are being made under a "special service campaign". Just wanted to let the forum members know what might be coming down their way. Thanks for all the helpful information posted by the members.

Try living in California when they change gas blends from summer to winter. With the winter blend I get about 4 mpg worse than with the summer blend in my IS250 RWD. I am averaging (going by the computer) in the winter about 24mpg and the summer it's 27 or better.

I have a IS250 that had a front end alignment problem also. The lexus service people said that the front end is aligned for handling and performance. The front tires were wearing on the inside edges. They did the alignment under warranty but I had to buy two new front tires. This was done back in November and so far the tires still look good. The car has about 21k on it now.

Just wanted to tell about my experience at Stevens Creek Lexus in Santa Clara. I purchased my is250 two years ago and have 20,000 miles on it. I have been happy with the car and service. A week ago I posted a question about the front end alignment on it as I found out that the front tires were worn on the inside edges. These were the original Bridgestone Potenza tires. I was told by my service guy that the front end is aligned that way for handling. I thought that was absured about having to have the front aligned every two years. Lexus of Stevens Creek checked and realigned my car under warranty and were glad to make me a happy customer. they even thru in a loaner car. I am very pleased with the service these past two years with them and would recommend the dealership to anyone in the San Francisco Bay Area to check out.

Has anyone had any front end alignment problems with thier 250/350rwd? My 07/is250 needs a front alignment as the front tires are wearing badly on the inside edges. The car has just turned 20,000. The dealer caught the wear when I took it in for it's 24 month service. Needless to say I need to get two front tires soon. Any ideas why the alignment should be out that badly. My wife drives the car mostly on the freeway with some in town driving. Other than the brake dust problem my car has been trouble free. Thanks for any advice the members send my way.

I bought my 07 is250 at Stevens Creek Lexus in San Jose. The dealer met my price so I was happy about that. So far they have done all the servicing and I have been happy with that. The front brakes were replaced at no charge by them. I didn't have to ask as they told me they were doing it for the dust problem. This is the first lexus I have owned and am very happy with the car.

I live in Santa Clara and have an 07 is250 and would like to meet up other members also. If something is set up as to a place to meet and show off our cars and maybe a cruise somewhere I'll be there.

I am new to this forum and wanted to join after reading through the posts. My wife and I have a 07 is250 with 14,000 miles on it. So far we haven't encountered any problems with it except for the brake dust issue. The pads were changed by the dealer when the car was serviced at 10,000 miles. So far we are happy with the overall performance and gas mileage. The car is averaging about 25mpg. This is a combination of city and highway. The only options on the car are the 18 inch wheels and nav. One question for everyone is about tires. I will need to replace the tires in the fall and would like some recommendations as to what brand of tire everyone is happy with. We live south of San Francisco so snow is not a problem. I would like a tire that handles well and is a bit quieter than the stock tires. Thanks for any advice that is sent my way.

Thanks for the information on the gas. I wouldn't have thought of doing that not knowing what is involved. This is what I like about this forum. all the people who give so freely.
