  1. I had this warning light come on after I had the valve springs replaced on my IS350 with the factory recall. Engine started shutting down and running very poorly. Took it back to the dealer and I was told that a module had come loose that the mechanic had not put on correctly. It was a quick fix and no further problems.
  2. Well I think I finally got my problem fixed. I went through four after market ballists. This was over a two month time period and they all went out over different intervels. Luckily the company was warranting them although not to happily. We finally decided that the factory HID bulb was shortening out the ballist. So we went with a fifth ballist and new after market HID bulbs and its been two months and no more problems. Nothing else was changed other than the ballist and bulbs. I paid a total of $200 for the one ballist and $170 for the two new HID bulbs. This included installation. Lots of hassle but saved money over dealer costs.
  3. I might add that Toyota was having HID light problems with their 07 and early 08 cars. As the lights were defective and had alot of cars with the same issues. I am thinking its the same issue.
  4. yeah Lexus "diagnosed" the issue. but I also felt like the dude was bull*BLEEP*ting his way out of the problem. he just kept contradicting himself. I didn't want to waste my time. I don't think it's he bulb either. could it be the sensor? guys, any help? My 2008 IS350 is doing the same thing with the left headlight only. It will work for five minutes or so and then go out. Then it might work for 30 minutes and go out. My car only has 60,000 miles and is rarely driven at night. So dont understand a HID light going out so soon and then working and not working. No way I am going to pay dealer cost, $240 for one light when you can get after market of $100 for two lights and the ballasts.
