  1. SOLD!!! MODS, PLEASE CLOSE, THANKS!
  2. Price reduced...I really need to clear these out of my garage...
  3. Depends. Does your new RX also have push-bitton start? If it does, the 80-foot system is probably the best range you're going to be able to get...unless someone you know or someone on here knows where to get a remote start system modified to make it have a much greater range. I know this because I asked about it when I got my 06 GS in which it was replied to me "it's complicated". That said, it's complicated if you have the push-button start, but if you don't, then you might as well wait and get a nice aftermarket system installed (for about the same price, but with up to a 1-mile range.
  4. I appreciate the help :) Wish I would've posted them sooner, seeing as how it's nearing All-Weather mat season, again...well, for me it is, at least...
  5. 1990LS400...I understand your grief (especially with the new Escalade lights---they are pretty horriffic)! NicLX470, thanks for the insight. I have found several posts on clublexus of guys that have done the HID kit and even posted install pics on the whole thing step-by-step, so I think I'll try them out...when I convince my wife it's a worth-while thing to spend $200 bucks on! I thought I might try it on on my 4Runner first, then see how well she likes them and if she'll let me poke around on her GX to do the job :whistles:
  6. I'd believe it. When it costs $60 for an oil change, and over $100 to get my runflats put back on my only set of shoes, $463 and some change to replace one sensor...you should feel lucky the quote was so low. But honestly, I'd buy the sensor and do it myself...if I had parking sensors :whistles:
  7. It sounded to me like the Nav screen just wasn't navigating, but that it already had the Nav installed. The dealer/car lot it was at probably took the Nav disc out of the drive (in the glove box); they often do that at dealers, as well as removing shift knobs to prevent the vehicle from being stolen.
  8. Just wondering if anyone has installed an HID kit (ballast and all) on a GX?! I'm looking into it now, just wondering if it's worth my while or if I should just stick w/ the stock setup... Any help would me much appreciated. -Bryce
  9. My 3GS pretty much has the same problem (but I read about the rain sensing wipers BEFORE I even bought it and people said they were pretty horrible from the get go). Thanks for the tip, though, mann! I will definitely try that out soon...
  10. This 4-Piece set of OEM GS AWD carpet floor mats have an MSRP of $110 (plus tax), I'm selling mine, which are barely used for ONLY $50 (only the drivers side one shows very minor wear--see pictures for details). I can drop them off to you anywhere in the Omaha,NE area, or I will ship them anywhere in the cont. 48-states free of charge! Thanks for looking :)
  11. VERY LUXURIOUS 2006 LEXUS GS 300 ALL WHEEL DRIVE Sedan! $25000 This GS300 is a blast to drive and it gets around great whether it's sunny, rainy or in sleet or snow. This luxury sedan has it all with: DVD Navigation, rear-view camera, push-button start/stop, factory keyless entry/alarm, sunroof, headlight cleaners, rear spoiler, rain-sensing windshield wipers, heated/cooled front seats, all auto up/down power windows, power locks, 12-way power driver & passenger seats, on board trip computer, 6-disc CD changer, Xenon headlights, power rear window sun shade and black rubber all-weather floor mats (I also still have the carpet mats which are still in pristine condition). Just over 59k miles driven by non-smoker. All routine and scheduled service and maintenance completed by Lexus of Omaha. Currently has a nearly new set of Pirelli Snowsport 210 tires on it (which have less than 5k miles on them). I also have a full set of Republic Enterprise Run-Flats w/ over 50% life left on them. I bought this car (just over a year ago) with the famous Lexus Certified Pre-Owned warranty (which sadly is not transferable), although it does have 13k miles left on the factory powertrain warranty. I have run the CarFax on it and it's clean as a whistle (still). No accidents or damage reported! This vehicle will not disappoint! The exterior of the vehicle is in great shape with no unusual wear and the interior is the same way! Please feel free to email me or call Bryce @ (402) 597-2838 if you want more information, pictures, or would like to come by and see it in person!
  12. I've had these on my 06 GS300 AWD (on the stock 10-spoke wheels) since December, but I'll be taking them off this week (in preperation of selling the car altogether). I'm not looking to get what I paid for them, but enough to make it worth my while of taking them off (and putting the other set of runflats back on). It costs me over $100 just to get the tires dismounted and the other set remounted and balanced. Therefore, I'm selling this set of barely used (literally, I've put less than 5k on them in just over 8 months) tires for $350 OBO (Price Reduced) (including shipping from Omaha, NE). The exact description and dimentions from TireRack is: 225/50R-17 PIRELLI WINTER 210 SNOWSPORT (Please note that these are STUDLESS tires).
  13. Steviej-- Just wondering how many miles you have on your GS?! And shouldn't Lexus have replaced the mirror anyways since theirs a TSB out for it?! -Bryce
  14. Mine vibrates even if the moonroof isn't open. It hasn't done it until recently, after my local dealer had to re-install my windshield (looks like they might've broken my mirror somehow). I'll take it back in when I get home and see what they can find out. -Bryce
  15. Just thought I'd give you guys an update: maybe you haven't heard this one yet, but apparently 75% of my "squeaks and rattles" were coming from an aftermarket windshield that was installed in my car (obviously not done correctly by Lexus or anyone reputable, for that matter). So, the windshield had to get replaced by my local dealer, but only after waiting for someone from Corporate Lexus to come out and see my car in person...I guess?!? Since it wasn't under warrantly, it was a big fiasco, but apparently it's fixed now...we'll see if I get my car back tomorrow (in time for me to leave on Saturday for a nice, leasurely 2k mile long trip back home (to Washington)...hope so! Thanks to all those who helped.
  16. I'm not very impressed with the auto-tilt feature, either. I had it on my truck and had that disabled because it was just plain annoying, but the power-folding part was nice :)
  17. Ok brycejag, you have had your moment. Take a bow and get over yourself. Now, do you have anything more inspiring to add to this discussion or is this your final contribution? With a wit like yours I am sure you have something more intelligent to say. Member123, what is your problem here? That comment is bordering on just plain rude. The guy has only got 5 posts and not one of them was sarcastic or meant to be funny. He simply added that his fuel door makes a noise when you run a towel over it. How can you determine his wit? I must ask you to tone down the arrogance. There is no reason to make a brand new member feel uncomfortable. steviej steviej...I do appreciate the defense, but Member123 still has a valid point and it does need to be addressed. That said, Member123, do I think it's ok for the fuel door to not latch properly? No, I don't. Is there a fix for it yet? No, obviously if there were one it would be posted up on this site somewhere. Thirdly, I'm going to agree with steviej and say that you're "wit" is borderline not that funny at all, but hey, to each their own.
  18. Thanks guys. That's what I figured, but I'd always rather be safe than sorry. As much as I want to waste a day at the dealer trying to get all that fixed, it's really starting to get to me now. Plus, my stupid passengers side mirror doesn't move up and down anymore, and 9 times out of ten the side to side function doesn't, either. Thanks again,
  19. Maybe it's just me, but I've come to notice quite a few squeaks and rattles (coming from the dash, mostly), but also some in the center console area. Anyone else?! I asked the dealer about it and they said that they'd have to remove the whole dash and do "sound proofing", similar to the sound proofing that they've had to do for many drivers side doors (from what I've read in the past). Has anyone else had to have sound proofing done on their dash, though, and does it fit the bill? Or is this just going to be a waste of my time?!? Thanks,
  20. I've got a 300 and have noticed the door makes noise when you move a towel or wash cloth over it, like it doesn't quite "lock in" properly.
  21. Niiiice...who's Honda!?! <_<
  22. I agree with MyPearlGs300...keep them, they'll save you if you have frigid winters or ever sell your car to someone that does. My wife has had a set for both seasons on her 99 4Runner for years...I'm looking forward to getting my own second set, myself...maybe next year. That's just my two cents.
  23. I just bought an 06 GS 300 AWD loaded this past Friday for $32k, but it had 45k miles...still, it's a Lexus CPO and I got rid of my Chevy truck that had over 100k miles! So to answer your question, I'm pretty sure you got a good deal...hope you enjoy your new GS! I know I will. B) -Bryce
