  1. So how does one remove the center floor console tray that holds the auxiliary outlet? Once you remove the center console, what are the steps to remove the tray? I'm assuming there are several fasteners holding it down. Thanks Andy 07 RX350 AWD
  2. I attached my Valentine 1 radar detector to the back of my mirror and I want to run the wire across the top of the glass down the a-pillar and under the dash. Has anyone removed the a-pillar trim? Does it just pry off with some force? Do I have to be worried about the air bag curtains? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks Andy
  3. Has anyone installed a Kuda mount for an iPod, IPhone, GPS unit, cell phone? What do you think of it? Was it easy to install? Does it hold the device solidly so that when you press the unit, the unit does not move?
  4. Does anyone know if you can purchase an aftermarket solution to bring the the older 350s to be Bluetooth A2DP compatible so we can play songs from say, a Blackberry Storm through the 350's stereo? The solution I have now is to use the tape cassette adapter and plug the cord into the Storm's headphone port. It does work very well, just looking for some other options that don't require wires.
  5. I agree. I am trying to get my Verizon Storm to stream music over the bluetooth in my 07 RX350 but have not been successful ashte Lexus BT apparently does not support the A2dp . Anyone know of a workaround? The new 10MY RX350 and 10MY Camry will support A2DP. The current systems do not support A2DP v1.3 or v1.0. So the workaround sounds like us owners with "older" RX350s need to buy the new 2010 model. :D Anyone know of a cheaper workaround, something aftermarket?
  6. I think the Lexus cars have to be compatible with Bluetooth A2DP stereo support, and I have not found anything that says that Lexus supports A2DP.
  7. I'm about to do my 350 oil change and for the people that have done their own oil changes, what do you do with your used oil? I have heard of people taking the used oil to gas stations and having to pay them for an oil disposal fee. I'm interested in hearing if there are other options or that only some places charge you for the disposal.
  8. I have an 07 RX350 and the foot-well lights and door-handle release lights are bright and then they dim once the car is started and the interior lights are turned on. Looking through a Lexus Electronic Service Manual it says that the Body ECU logic is to send less voltage for the dimming once a few criteria are met. They mention that the only setting you can change with these lights are with a Lexus hand-held tester and you can only turn the lights on/off as opposed to changine the brightness. Does anyone know if there is a way to override this with some type of rewire so that those lights remain bright?
  9. Sure, just deflate your tires to 15 PSI and use common sense when on the sand.
  10. I have found their Spray Glass cleaner is very good..then follow that up with a good coat of Rain X. The Rain X seems to work better with this stuff under it, Gets rid of the rain faster under slower speeds. Hardly use my wipers now it does such a good job!! I have used several of their products for many years and do not have any complaints. Their leather care product is by far the best leather product I have found. Cleans the leather, has a great smell, and softens the leather.
  11. There is an air duct inside the cavity to replace the fog light but I cannot determine how the piece is attached. Anyone out there replace their left fog light and what did you do to remove this duct piece? The right fog light area does not have this duct piece so you can just reach up and replace the light.
  12. Illuminating the earth by day, and illuminating a road at night are two different things. Being unhappy with the color of the sun is not relevant here. For my experience the 5000 bulb provides better illumination.
  13. The 4300 does not appear bright enough to me. Has a more yellowish-look to it. I have 5000 HIDs on another car and they are bright white. I have 6000 HIDs on another car and they start going towards the blueish look. Is anyone else unhappy with their OEMs HIDs? Thanks Andy
  14. Anyone replace the HID bulbs in the 350? If so, are they easy to replace? Does anyone know the temperature for the OEMs? It appears to be 4300 - 5000. Not quite bright enough for my liking. Thanks Andy 07 RX350 AWD
