Hey guys, This has happened three times now! Without prior warning, full tank of gas, new battery 8 mos ago, I turn the key and all the lights come on but no crank. Slight low whirring sound from the motor, but no crank. After some random jiggling of the wires going into the ignitor and battery cables, it has started eventually (so not sure that even did anything). Do you think maybe it's the starter motor/wires, and how much should that cost to replace? Anyone else had this happen? I hope to get it in the shop this weekend, but if it doesn't happen while at the dealer, I don't want them to dismiss it. New baby on the way and I must have reliability from my Lex! I've been driving around with a shredded rear wiper and the replacement (floppy) insert in the glove box for weeks now. Haven't gotten around to figuring out how to install it, but now i know what NOT to do, thanks

In the 6 mos I've owned my 03 SportCross, around 20 mpg (even if i leave the power button pushed in!). My commute is 75% highway and 25% stop n go. And you might as well use premium fuel, because the engine runs less efficiently on lower grade fuel, so it all evens out. :P
