i will be throwing on the mazzuri super header and tenabe medallion cat back exhaust this weekend! :D first off, a big thanks to Smooth for all his help thus far, but figured I would give him a break, seeing as he has been answering so many of my questions he is probably back logged with Flop's questions...... j/k Flop :P all the weekend plans have been cancelled....spending a weekend under a Lexus is not as good as spending a weekend under Marissa, but it's not half bad either. i have the o2 sim for the header, but smooth mentioned a plug defowler for the sensor in the y-pipe is necessary, else the dreaded cel will appear....anybody know where such an item could be obtained quickly?!? i have looked at advance and autozone sites on-line but found nothing.....i can not take everything sitting in the garage just tormenting me any longer... thanks, bros

has anyone swapped out the halogen daytime running lights for hid bulbs? i imagine they have, but what's involved in doing this, an hid conversion kit???

from my personal experience you can't trust carfax, it's random what shows up.....i had a "mishap" in a parking lot with my truck 6 years ago....i was picking up one of skydiving students up at a metro station in northern virginia, the kiss-n-ride lot (that name still makes me laugh) had parking meters in front of the spaces that were sunk in 10" steel tubes filled with concrete (not on a curb, just at the front of each spot)...to make a long story short (and there were extenuating circumstances), i hit one and it sheered the front wheel completely off, tore out the 4-wheel drive, destroyed the steering box, etc....when all was said and done it was $11k+ worth of damage....not one of my proudest moments! :cries: to this day, that incident has not shown up on the carfax report for my truck! repair shops, insurance agencies, etc are hit-or-miss as to whether they report to carfax, so it is really a crap shoot.... brosnibean

ha, seriously those markers are clear as f ing mud to understand/order....i am to understand correctly, fronts $28 and rears $38.50, and add another $30 for LEDs in each?!? ok, if you were going to get them somewhere else where would you go??? :D thanks for the link flop

i have decided to go with mazurri super header and y pipe system and tanabe medallion touring cat back exhaust....i've read it before, said it before, and will say it again, smooth is the man! the dopification of my ride begins this weekend, and i feel like a little kid on christmas eve, just waiting to open presents!!!!!! brosnibean

from a hp perspective, does it make sense to put a y-pipe and exhaust on the car if I am not swapping out the headers? i have a ram air intake on the car, the plan being down the road for headers and a supercharger once finances fall into place (and the wife goes out of town)...but for now, the real question is a y-pipe and exhaust worth it without swapping out the headers?
