  1. I cant seem to find a "how to" install springs. looking at Tanabe NF210s or Eibach Pro-Kit, but dont want to do the install until i have an idea what im doing. anyone know where there is a link? also looking at putting either MMR 19 x 8.5 Gt-1s or TSR Snetterton 20 x 8.5s on. Not into the staggered look. Any help would be appreciated.
  2. 2006 GS430. I do mixed driving in Sacramento where it goes from stop & go to 80 mph. I average between 22-24 in these conditions depending upon how lead-footed Im feelin. On the freeway, exclusive freeway driving yields 25-28.
  3. nope. just put it in there. bought an add-a-cigarette lighter from Pep Boys. grounded one side to bolt and positive to the add a fuse. just plugged in the car charger into that. works fine. I dont use the phone charger much. when its not in use it just tucks between the center console and seat out of view.
  4. vaistech.com. i did it with sirius and it works great (fully intigrated). full cost was about 250 for the vaistech thing and another 80 for the tuner. took about an hour to do the install. there is a post for this on here somewhere. (benefit to this is you also get an additional mp3/ipod pasive input).
  5. i have an 06 gs430 using att with a palm treo 750. i can call with the phone and it goes to the car when the call is connected. Usually i do this rather than dial by the car since my mailbox number and password are automatically dialed with the phone. i have to manually put these in when i call with the car. I think most phones are similar.
  6. I mounted my palm treo 750 by just cuting a piece of black plastic and cutting a binder clip to keep it from bouncing or moving. this way i can just use my phone book instead of using the car phone book. Also I need to reference my calendar quite often to schedule things while im driving (I know its not safe), but this allows my phone in view and easy access. I ran an "add a circuit" to the passenger fuse block for the cigarette lighter and ran the power cord out between the driver seat and the black padded panel side of the center console. Ill post a few pics. works good enough for me.

  8. I was wanting to put in an aftermarket 10" with a small amp to boost the bass a bit, but dont know how to get at the ML sub. i cant figure out how to get the grill off (think I broke a plastic clip trying) and the trunk liner does not give access to the sub. if anyone has done this, post some pics and directions...
