Transmission Problems/failures with RX300 awd/fwd

I suspected my 2001 RX 300 had a design defect. I've never owned a car where the transmission goes out so soon (96,573). We had the transmission replaced with a new Lexus transmission, but unfortunately after only 7,090 miles it's back in the shop. Thanks to all the others who have posted. Now I know I'm not alone. I found the link to NTHSA and will definitely log the complaint once I get my vin#.
