hi guys, i was just at the dealer today for an oil change and asked him about the dvd upgrade, he checked with the parts guy who confirmed that if you upgrade to the newest dvd, you will no longer have to hit the "I Agree" button.

Hello: I need to replace my tires on my 07 ES350. The Lexus dealer wants $220 per tire plus $140 for an alignment which means total cost to me is over $1,000. I have checked prices at independent shops like STS Auto and Tire and Gemini Goodyear and their price is about $550 for 4 new tires and alignment. That's a huge price difference so I am considering NOT going to the Lexus dealership; however, when I asked the dealership for their opinion, the guy gave me a song and dance about how independent shops usually break the tire pressure monitoring system on the wheels. I am wondering if anyone has any experiences going to independent tire shops for tire replacements. Also I am considering getting the Goodyear Assurance Triple Tread P215/55R17. Any opinions on these? Thanks!

Hi, i bought my 07 ES350 at the age of 31. I bought it for the quality and comfort. The IS did appeal to me, but was too small and couldn't accommodate my frequent trips to Home Depot. LOL.

any owners with Sirius radio frustrated by not being able to read the entire Sirius radio output on their screens? I am wondering if this is specific to my car and sirius radio only? i had the sirius radio installed by lexus. When i have it on, the radio only displays the first few characters of the song Title and the Artist. The lines on which this info appears are long enough to hold the entire Title but for some reason I can only see maybe 10 characters. Anyone else have this issue and/or know how to fix? thanks. <_< <_<

Thanks gordonw. I changed the setting on the phone to "trusted". Still not working...I'll check the software on the phone over the weekend, though I would think it's up-to-date given the phone is brand new. The Blackberry Pearl just came out from Verizon Wireless a few weeks ago---it has been available from other carriers for a while though. I don't have the option of transferring single contacts either. I am not too concerned about transferring the phone book, I am more annoyed by the bluetooth connection failure because I drive 1.5 hours to and from my office so the bluetooth was very helpful on the long ride. Hey just wanted to let you know that I found out why the bluetooth connection kept failing, it was b/c i had the bluetooth LED light turned off to save battery life, but apparently if you turn the light off it also disables bluetooth. Stupid! Anyway, thanks for replying to me!

Hello, I am new owner of a 2007 ES350. I have had the car for a few months and am enjoying it. The first few months that I had the car I was using my Nokia phone and had successfully paired it with the car's bluetooth capability. A few weeks ago I got the new Blackberry Pearl from Verizon Wireless. After pairling the blackberry and car successfully, i noticed that while driving the bluetooth connection would fail. This happens whether or not I receive or make calls. I have re-paired the devices but the failure keeps happening. Is anyone having similar issues? Additionally, I have not been able to upload my phonebook from the blackberry to the car. I am not that technically savvy so I called Blackberry and they said to call Lexus. Lexus said to call Blackberry and so the cycle goes..... Any ideas? Thanks!!
