  1. And it sure beats the heck out of the alternative............. being stuck with no power.
  2. Yes it works! 4 indicators and warnings pop up on the dash display telling you that traction control system is disabled. This is information the dealer should tell you about or put it in the manual. I went to the dealer to ask how to do this. They thought there was a button. They were no help.
  3. I appreciate tires, I really do. But the RX400H doesn't compare to the RX300 (I owned 2) in the snow. With bald tires on compact snow/ice driving on Hwy 2 Stevens Pass during a snowstorm, I had NO problems. Was like a tank. I'm trading- in my RX400H in today on a new RAV-4. They have a button to disable the computer. Yeah!
  4. What do tires have anything at all to do with this topic? When you press the accelerator to the floor and it goes nowhere, tires or no tires..... I've had my 400H for a year now. Last night was our first snowstorm since then, and I got stuck going up a hill. Had to borrow my sisters Honda Pilot to get home. After the roads cleared the next day, I went to pick up my sorry excuse for an all wheel drive SUV. Boy I miss my RX300! The 400H was a downgrade for sure!
