  3. oh thanks, i didnt know that...so lyk replace the valves, springs and retainers? how much do those usually run you for?
  4. just porting...the guy who i am ordering the parts through said it wasnt really necessary unless you are fully building the entire motor

  8. snapped these before i pulled her into the garage til who knows when...and then touched a few of em up :whistles: the headgasket blew so im building the bottom end and putting in a thicker head gasket and head studs :D ENJOY:

  10. i cannot open up the My.Is webpage, and ive tried on multiple computers, can anyone else connect?
  11. also when you click over to M mode you need to shift into desired gear. it will not shift into your current auto gear. it will stay at 5 and work like in auto anto shifted down. i think they made it to not go into first because it is such a low gear it would either get destroyed if we had control over it or it would always redline too quick.

  13. thats funny that you live in iceland and drive. i know a guy who said his friend just doesnt drive cause gas is so much. i think he was from Ireland or something where its super expensive and better to ride or walk cause to buy a gallon you have to work for an hour just to get you to work. LOL
  14. can you throw out to me any round numbers for the base mapping, you know, just to get the car to start and running. since it is getting installed i was going to try to see if i could help out the guys installing it because they have not installed and tuned one on an IS yet. this way they can fine tune it later and there will be less hassle and guessing noww. thanks
  15. dont you have the FIC smooth? hows yours working out and what did you tune the numbers and ratios to. im gettin installed at Garage GT in san diego off of kearny villa. they've done all my turbo stuff and do everything engine. there really good and not too expensive, really reasonable.
  16. what kind of tuner do you mean?, like a ECU/fuel management tuner?
  17. the kit was only 1k but i needed to replace some parts like BOV and wastegate so it starts to add up. in order to get it runnin smooth. especially figuring out feul control and stuff. im still breakin in and will boosting 5 pounds, than 6 or 7.
