  1. If it's a loaded 2009 LX-570, then the MSRP is around $86K. 11% off MSRP is $77K...and the invoice is $74.8K. so 11% off still gives the dealer $2,200 plus factory incentives on a vehicle they haven't been able to sell for 6 months.
  2. I would speak to a Service rep at the dealership. My personal experience at Lexus is that the Service dept guys are the honest ones. My experience with most Sales reps is that you need to question what they tell you...when you see their lips start to move. :)
  3. I just bought the latest Navigation DVD upgrade (November 2006) “PT219-GEN-04” “DATA Ver. 06.1” from Lexus, and now I can no longer access the hidden Service Menu like I could in the previous version. On my previous NAV DVD, I accessed the Service Menu by going to the “Sound Menu”, then: Press top left, bottom left, top left, bottom left…then the Service Menu popped up. Has anyone figured out how to access the “Service Menu” on the newest NAV DVD’s? If so, please share it here.
  4. I have an '05 ES-330. The screen says I have "Data :ver.04.2" and the DVD disk says "W41D" Is this the latest?
  5. I have an '04 LX-470. There are 3 problems I've encountered when adding aftermarket tint FILM on front driver and passenger windows. 1. They usually don't match the color/shade of the factory side and back windows. 2. Tint FILM can bubble/scratch over time. 3. Tint FILM can be harder to see through at night than embedded factory tint. Someone out there should make factory tinted driver and passenger side windows that match the factory tinted windows. The Lexus stock CLEAR factory windows are part #s: 68101-60311 and 68102-60311. Anyone know of someone producing factory-like internally tinted windows?
  6. I have an 04' LX-470. Just replaced the original Dunlops that came on vehicle. I had read posts stating that Michelin Pilot LTX's were better quality and gave a better ride. As far as ride, I really can't tell difference. New tires and allignment always ride great. Here's something to watch for...I ALMOST paid about $250/tire + balancing, etc. at a Tire Kingdom store. When I saw how the mechanic there was butchering my rear bumper trying to figure out how to get at my spare...I halted the job and took it to JM Lexus in Margate FL. thinking I would pay more, but get it done right by a Lexus mechanic. When I called JM Lexus to check price, they were $225+ balancing / tire!!!! JM explained that they didn't want to lose biz to places like Tire Kingdom stores, so they were competing on price. I prefer a Lexus dealer mechanic working on my car any day over most non-lexus mechanic. Not that there aren't GREAT independent mechanics out there, but there are so many variables and car models, that your odds are better with a mechanic who focuses on your brand...Just my opinion.
