Does anyone know where the: Door - Dome Light Switch Location ?? RX300 1999 I am used to seeing a rubber cap covering a switch. I do not see one on my 199 RX300 and am wondering if it is in the door or concealed magnetic? Help appreciated. Roger

Check your Lexus Manual. It addresses the flashing light... I think it is a compressor malfunction.??/

Does anyone know the basis for the Ave Speed Display. Is it based on the Odometer A or B or something else... which ever is active at the time. Running at Highway speeds of around 70 mph for an hour, mine was still only showing 19 mph.??? Roger

1999 RX300 Today I experienced loss of cooling. ( outside temperature was 91 F.) 1. The compressor failer light did not flash on the "auto" button. So I think the compressor is ok. 2. The cooling came back on after being turned off for from 10 min. in one case to 1 hr. in the second. and the setting reduced temp to 65 F or "cold". It came on and ran well for 45 min. until I parked it for the night. I suspect it may have something to do with the "termostat" or computer. Has anyone experienced this? Roger

On the 1999 ...RX300, I do not see any "little plastic cover". Just more headliner. ????

How do you tighten it? Nut, screw ??? Where is it located? Thanks

I was at a dealer last week and talked to another Lexus RX300 1999 customer. He said he purchased a KIT composed of: o A cable -- DLC Connector on one end and a PC USB connector on the other. It is attached to the OnBoard Diagnostic's Computer's -- Data Link Connector (DLC) under the dash to the USB Personal Computer's USB connection. o Software for the PC -- to do what the shop's diagnostic computers do or what the hand held diagnostics devices do. Can anyone Recommend an Internet Link, Company/product name and contacts.? Thanks Roger
