  1. There is actually quite a bit more to this than just removing the caliper and hitting it with a hammer. You have to turn the gear that loosens the parking brake, then the rotors will come off easily.
  2. A couple issues that I'm hoping you guys can help me with. 1. Car idles a little rough at a stop. It is barely noticeable but just enough to be annoying. The car runs perfectly all of the time except when idling. It is very slight barely make the tach move. It does this when in park as well as when in gear at a stop. 2. The steering wheel shakes a little bit. Car rides perfectly smooth and I think it needs an alignment but wouldn't think this would cause the wheel to shake. Tie rod ends maybe? Something else? Also I'm guess some people will say wheel balance but again it is completely smooth when driving so wouldn't think it would be a balance issue. Thanks for any advice.
  3. If it's the same as a 2000 gs there is a gear near the bottom of the hub assembly. You have to remove the rubber plug on the rotor and rotate it down so that you can see the gear through the hole in the rotor. Take a screwdriver and stick it in the hole and rotate the gear (there is one on each side). One way will tighten the brake the other way will loosen it. Hope this helps. I had to do this yesterday to remove the rotors for a brake job. Hope this helps.
  4. How do you get the rear rotors off of a 2000 gs300??????? I have searched everywhere and can't find any answers? Please someone fill me in gotta get these back to napa to have them resurfaced within the hour. Thanks Sean
  5. Why does nobody share their PDF service manuals on this site? If someone would tell me where exactly I can purchase the PDF's I would be happy to share them and someone could post them. I can't even find a guide on how to do the rear brake pads here? I know it is similar to any other pads but still would like to see what the manual has to say. :( Guy's Manual <{POST_SNAPBACK}> is there any way that you can share your pdf files with me, i need to change the water pumo and need some help, emael same as nick with hotmail in itI'll appreciate and my "lito" thats my car's name with appreciate also. 93 gs300. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> His PDF is for the 98 and up Gs's, so I don't think it will help you too much. EBay will have the OEM manual for about $120 <_<
