  1. i too have been looking to upgrade my 00 LX470 at 48K but have seen ads saying that TRD has disconinued sales of the superchrger due to some technical issues. the lowest price i saw was $3,600-but you need to shell out for $1K for install i believe-if it's still ok and warranteeable.
  2. I actually installed an XM kit (antenna, modulator, splitter) from Toyota(made by Pioneer,Thailand) for the 2004 LS430,which costs $400+ from lexuspartsmall. It is better than these Delphi implementations because it is not subject to FM modulation. You will need to install the splitter connectors into your trunk (where the amplifier connections are) and install the XM box under the Lexus Link holder, aside from installing the antenna over your trunk and routing the wiring to the XM box. The most difficult part of the install was uninstalling the trimmings and installing the rivets for the revised trim "box" for the XM box. I used the savings I got to buy a 2-year "discounted" XM subscription. By the way mention the XM promotion from Lexus and you get a free month's subscription and free activation. :P
  3. i test drove the euro-tuned in 2 different occasions along with the base car and i felt the euro-tuned lost the "luxurious" ride a bit and i heard a bit more road noise. i've driven sports sedans for more than a decade and becasue of my age it seems i'm beginning to prefer the cadillac ride-the cushy ride. so i'm going with the base car ride although the euro-tuned option sounds like a steal. i wanted to find out if the people here really prefer the ML/Nav option and whether it's really worth the extra money? :)
