  1. I have also noticed a few things about gas mileage. One, the on-board computer is not accurate. If you simply fill up and do a quick calculation, the OBC adds about 2 MPG to the equation.
  2. I had the rotors replaced under warranty with my ES only 30K of very non-aggressive highway driving. To give you an idea of how much highway driving, I got 90K out of my front Camry pads.
  3. I was not told by my salesman about the premium gas preference, so I initially used just regular gasoline. When I started to use Plus Octane (89) I noticed a 10% jump in MPG, using the internal computer system. I have done this test several times on the same highway of just under 400 miles and my MPG change has always been the same; +10%. Since the 89 Octane never costs more than 10%, I have kept using it with great results in power and mileage.
  4. I just bought an 2007 ES350 and made the mistake of not getting Sirius. The dealer wants $500-$600. Does anyone know a reasonble alternative. The radio has the SAT button so I know it's possible.
  5. I use a KRZR with the Bluetooth and everyone complains of an echo. They never did with my Bluetooth headset.
  6. I have been looking to buying a 2007 or 2008 ES since April. End of the month of any given month, deals spike. With Lexus dealers, they make deals on the last day of the month they wouldn't even think of making any other day) That being said the end of the 2007 I belive is already upon us (they aren't making any more 2007's) By the end of August I expect the 2007 inventory to virtually dry up and the 2008's will start selling and by the end of September they will be discounted to the same level as 07's (plus price increase cost of the 08) It looks like the UL which is in short supply now, will be in short supply next year. The car with the best opportunity for discount seems to be the prem plus with nav...they are the most readily available car in this stable. I personally am looking to wait for an 08 or get a great deal on an 07 Acura RL. time will tell. The deals are on right now. I just got an ES350 Premium that stickerd at 37.8 for 34 and no doc or other hidden fees.
