I have 2001 RX300 with 63K miles. I hven't done much from maint point of view except regular oil change/tires/winterization. I was planning to get tuneup but someone told me I don't need to with lexus until 75K. I am not sure when to get tuneup done. Also, not sure if there any good places (besides dealers) that you folks recommend in NJ area. If you have any suggestions that will be very helpful. Thanks in advance.

I have same problem but it coming from front under glove compartment. It happens while car is even in park gear.

I found following package on Lexus website for 2004 ES330: Navigation System/Mark Levinson® Audio System Package with Additional Options $5,584.00: Which includes Navigation System/Mark Levinson® Audio System Package with Premium six-disc CD auto-changer in center console, High-Intensity Discharge Headlamps (HID) with dynamic auto leveling (includes rain-sensing variable intermittent wipers), Two-stage heated front seats, Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), Wood- and leather-trimmed steering wheel and shift knob, Power rear sunshade, Preferred Accessory Package (includes Trunk mat, Cargo net and Wheel locks) While website likes cars.com and carsdirect.com does have same package, it does not include same options above and most of are at extra cost. When I called one of the dealer and asked him what is included in Navigation package they told me some of option that is included in Lexus website but not all of them and they are not same as car website either. I cannot get consistent answer from anyone and it concerns me since price vary 3K-5K based on what is included. Does any one know the disparity in what is included in the Navigation System/Mark Levinson® Audio System Package any why there are differences between Lexus website, car website and at the dealer? I will appreciate any help anyone can give me. .

I own 2001 RX300 in good condition. I am 500 miles from reaching 50K (warranty limit) and debating if I should buy extended warranty. I spoke to the dealer (Difeo Lexus) and they are offering United Auto (third party) warranty for additional 40K miles for $1,400. I am not sure: 1) if I should buy it from dealer or other companies 2) Given Lexus reputation do I need the warranty? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

When the right side tail(right most) light is not working, replace blun sign comes on. This is not consistant. Sign comes and goes..when sign is off there is no problem and everthing is working. According to sign I am suppose to replace to bulb. But if buld is bad then why is works some times? Any one have seen this? any help will be apperciated. Thanks.
