The brake Fluid level is a little over the MInimum LIne, so its Under the Maximum line. And the light comes on the Dash Board and its the same light when u use the emergency (supposubly the hand brake) foot brake. "BRAKE" , red in color.

Cheers all ; I never thought i would post here asking a question regarding my es 300 , since i thought it was not vulnerable to any malfunctions. But sadly i am becoming one of the help seekers on this forum. Past few weeks i have noticed something different on my car. Everytime it rains or the roads are wet and some times in dry conditions, every time i hit brake the "BRAKE" lights comes on or when i slow down the "BRAKE" lights come on ! I am talking about the light what usually comes when you have the foot brake on . I have checked the Brake Oil Level and also the brakes itself since i recently changed them. I wanna take it to the mechanic but i want it to be diagnosed before i spend 100's If any one has any clue what i am talking about please feel free to reply or even have any questions. Another unfortunate thing :chairshot: , i got into an accident yesterday, :cries: rear ended a freakin Toyota Sienna ! Good thing i only lost the corner light, but the sienna's rear bumper got cut half ! Another reason why i admire my Lexus ! any one knows where i can get a corner turn light, i mean the housing itself . thank you again.

I wonder if its possible to replace the bulb of 97 es 300 fog light from regular pale to the green kind IS 300 and GS's have ? any one know the color of that bulb called ? and if any one sells it besides ofcourse rip off dealer any help is appreciated

so far so good.. now if someone can mention how to change them ? cuz i cant figure out how to open the dash :(

Yes my cd player works fine. Its just the display bulb is out, and i need to know if any one can replace it for me besides dealer or post instructions for it. ITs 1997 Es 300.

the bulb that i have out is on theradio for channel 3 and 4 , and where it says CD. those 3 bulbs r out and i need instructions to change them.

I know i have seen a post some where here before about cd player's bulbs burning out. UNfortunately i have not have courage to mess with the lexus stereo. Has any one done it , changing those little bulbs of the stereo ? if yes and is from maryland i would be interested in contacting them and compensating for the work. if interested or other wise instructions would also be appreciated.

I have a 97 es 300 , its alarm works fine, but for some reason the sound of the alarm is very low. I can hear the sound of the alarm (beep Beep) when its very quiet out. IS there any way if i can raise the volume or any thing of that nature ? any help will be appreciated . Cheers .
