  1. i think entry fee is in the tens of thousands of dollars, it also is very expensive to travel that far, and its not really a competition, only some of the people who join take it seriously (some fat guy in a Mercedes wins it everytime) gumball 3000 looks fun as hell, i wish one day i could join but i will want to have lots and lots of money in my pocket before i can join it. and i also think most the participants are millionaires... ;)

  2. hmm i was thinking of getting this protective layer after i upgraded to 97 body. my question is, is maintenance as normal as regular paint? harder? easier? like washing the car, do you use auto soap, do you have to wax the car? will it harm your paint if you want to peel it off someday? seems like a lot of questions but im sure this will clear things up for many people...especially me :P

  3. there are 2 bolts that you have to take off from the inside of the wheel well, first you gotta unbolt the protective layer, then after removing that, you should be able to see the 2 bolts, you might need a socket extention to reach it if you have bigger hands. and also be sure you have the items needed ready to clean the headlights and have a new cornering bulb thats either clear or chrome thats ready to be fit into the side lights. good luck.!

  4. No way a Supra will go even close to 200 with only 320 HP. Gearing is but ONE factor in top speed, along with power, frontal area, and coefficient of drag. If the formula was a 1:1 relationship, a 100 HP Civic that tops out 100 MPH with optimum gearing could go 200 with 200 HP and optimum gearing. I would suspect that a Supra with 550-650 HP *might* top 200 MPH.

scientifically a stock Supra twin turbo can reach 200mph. if you need to see proof i will gladly find it and post it up.
