I have bought a 93-ES 300 with rebuilt transmission. Whenever the car shift gear from 1st to 2nd it looks like someone has kiked the car from behind. However the problem does not occur in any other gear or if the car is changing gear above 2200 RPM. Does anyone know if it is a common problem in ES 300 or if it can be fixed somehow.
Also putting the car in ECT mode does not make me feel any difference. Should there be a difference in driving in ECT mode and in normal mode??
Any advice to fix the gear problem. I looked the transmission fluid level and transmission oil looks clean.
