  1. I'm planning on a suspension upgrade for a 1st generation GS. I want to have it lowered, without interfering too much with the feel of the "lexus ride" or the appearance. As of now, I have the eibach pro-kit in mind. Will the eibach kit be efficient, or should I purchase shocks/struts?
  2. I agree. Remember, no matter how much the dealer says they care about the customer, what they really care for is the customer's money. The second a car is wrecked or damaged, no matter how minor, it should be sold as a used car even it has zero miles. There have been cases where a porter employed at a dealer severely wrecks a brand new car while transporting it to the lot, and the dealer's body shop takes care of the damage and it is sold as a brand new car. Some people (usually specializing in body work) have an eye for detecting previous damage on a car.
  3. Hey, no problem. Let me know how it turns out.
  4. Just got done through the same process on my '95 GS. There should be 3 screws holding a plastic cover on top of each headlight, remove those. Then there should be about 3 bolts holding each lamp in place, remove those as well. Then comes the pain in the !Removed!, which is removing 2 nuts (10mm I believe) vertically holding the outside corner of each lamp. To remove these, you'll have to go to the lining under the wheel arch and pull back the lining closest to the outer edge. You do have the option to remove the tire, but I left it on. The 2 nuts holding the lamp should be directly behind the lining. Good luck, and if you have any other questions just ask.
  5. Upon close inspection after washing the car, I noticed a bit of chipping and fading on the black plastic(?) area of my GS' grille. I tried a bit of mothers back to black, but it didn't help much. I'm planning on repainting it black, what type of paint would be best to use for this? Thanks in advance for any responses.
