  1. the $7000 plan is a big break kit. Brembo OEM/drilled/slotted never cost that much.. ( i paid i think 300 for all 4 drilled and slotted )
  2. remove the positive terminal. you can wait it out to see if it trips any codes... i doubt it will though.. no different than a high flow drop in filter... like a k&n or something. no intake is ever a huge power gain really most of what comes with an intake is noise.
  3. when the sound is going away thats the gasket expanding under heat. honestly what i would do is pay an exhaust shop to cut the flanges off and weld it together. solve your problem and reduce a pound or so in flange weight even sell them later if you need it. will cost 5$ and a couple of minutes. or even wait 10-15 minutes and have them rid of all the flanges heh alternative is to buy a gasket from a store for a couple of dollars new bolts (usually exhaust bolts are pretty rusty and need replacement) and do it yourself... would take a few minutes if you have the proper tools (jackstand, wrenches, jack) and you might get a bit dirty... (when there is a leak a lot of carbon will spew out)
  4. i think you are safe to go tokico.. most of toyotas struts are tokicos anyway :P i went bilstein on my supra with eibach springs and was very happy with that. great ride. nice drop. too abd they dont have them for the LS400 or i'd get em for this car as well hehe
  5. well to check that thermostat is really easy.. just put it in a bucket of hot water :) 15$ part on top of it so while taking it out you might as well replace it if you are really worried about it
