I has a similar situation in my lexus with a mouse. I as I was driving.... a dead mouse flew up over the windshield from the engine compartment. So I pulled over and opened up the hood, and sure enough... there was a live one in there too!!! They chewed up all of the felt material around the radiator. I ended up putting moth balls, and all kinds of traps all over my garage. BTW--- how big was the rat... I dont see them in Wisconsin ever thankfully.

How can I clean my throttle body? How do I get to it? What are the benefits of doing this?

Yeah, I get about 18. Oddly enough on my 93 bmw (smaller car, smaller engine) I get about 16. I would think that there would be a bigger difference. On my 94 explorer I get approx 14 mpg. Very disappointing. I wonder if the o2 sensor could be going out?

um... yeah, the car was quite obviously totaled!

Some guy that didnt have his licence made an illegal turn infront of me. It was in a 45 mph zone. I found out later that this guy had a previous VEHICULAR HOMICIDE charge on his record..... nice. Amongst several battery and disorderly conduct charges... real scum of the earth. Needless to say, it was a bad one. His wife ended up a parapelegic, he broke a leg, and his daughter suffered serious head trauma. They were in like a beat up 1987 S10 pick up.

Specifically some of the interior features that I missed were the odometer buttons that are lacking on the 2000, and the simple button for windshield washing. To answer your question...shockingly, they drove virtually the same. (the 94 and the 2000)

For looks, style... definately 2000 and prior. Not sure about the reliablility and such for anything after 2001. I have owned two different 1994 models, and currently a 2000 model. So I may be partial to them! But I must say that I was very surprised to see how little changes there were made in upgrading from a 94 to a 2000. There were actually several interior features that I miss from my 94s that were lacking on my 2000.

Went to Autozone today to get some Seafoam... and they recommended that I use Lucas in my gas tank instead? So I bought some Lucas. We will see how it goes....
