  1. I just reached 15,000 miles on my 2007 ES350 and called 2 Lexus dealers for prices on service. One in Brooklyn (walking distance from my house) is asking $397.00 plus tax but the one in New Jersey (where I leased it) is asking $357.00 plus tax. I'm looking for any feedback from someone who has had the 15,000 mile service done or someone who has changed the Hepa filter on their own. The last oil change/tire rotation at 10,000 miles cost me $99.00. Does anyone think I'm better off changing the filter myself and having the oil change /tire rotation done by the dealer or just let the dealer do the entire job? Thanks for your input.
  2. Was 42 when I picked up my 2007 ES350 in 2006. Your only as old as you feel. By the way, just hit 15,000 miles and this car still rocks. I still get positive comments from people in their 20's as well as 70's. :D
  3. Make sure you set the parking brake in order to get the video to play. The dvd audio will play without the parking brake set. There is a way to bypass the parking brake and speed sensor- its in a previous post somewhere. Good luck.
  4. Leased a ul smokey granite mica (absolutely every option except the laser cruise control) in July 2006 for $530 per month with $4,200 down- 3 years/36,000 miles. Waited 7 weeks for one to come from Japan- worth the wait. Discount due to Continental Airlines Employee discount program. Best service/treatment from a dealer I ever had- I love this car more now than when I first got it. Starting to see alot more on the road in New York lately. Doubt I'll be driving anything else but a Lexus from now on- Have owned Chevy, Ford, Pontiac, Nissan and Toyota vehicles in the past. Have not had a single passenger who was not truly impressed with all the electronics and gadgets in this car- especially the Navigation/DVD system.
