The unresponsive touchscreen issue hit my out of warranty 2007 IS350 at just over 100k miles. The dealer quoted $2000 to replace it. I was going to attempt the fix posted on this forum, but decided to try calling Lexus corporate first. I politely explained to them that I was a loyal customer, and expressed hope that they would help me out. They told me they would review my case and call me back. Yeah right (I thought) They called me back today. Corporate will replace the navi and the dealer, Lexus of Sacramento will cover the labor if the install it will cost me nothing! I love it when a company treats its customers as if they want to keep them! LEXUS ROCKS!

Stereo CDs sound great, but then again, I am also pleased with the way the ML system renders my mp3 playlists burned onto a cheap CD-R.

Are there any DVD-A discs that sound AWESOME in the ML system? I don't own any yet, just want to know which ones sound amazing.

I would like to see what you come up with. Please post photos when you do it. i REALLY do not want to put holes in the bumper!!!

I think that you should drive the IS350. I love my 350. Dang, I love to drive again...feel like I am 16. The back seats are good for groceries, but not recommended for adult humans. :)

I really don't want to put front plates on this car. The plates have not yet arrived, and it will kill me to see them drill holes into my bumper. If I do comply with the law (which I probably will), do you think I should go with a chrome license plate frame or black?

I wanted Obsidian or Black Sapphire. I wanted any package that would get me the Levinson system, black leather was also a requirement. I was told that 4 months was normal for factory orders, and waited 6 weeks (with a $1000 deposit) to get the car that I finally acceoted (the Smoky Granite). Now, I am glad that I went with this color (which I really do like) and not waited months for the IS experience. :). I am loving this car more every day! I paid $1300 under MSRP, but I am not complaining. I got the car that is perfect for me!!

I have had her for 15 days now. How did I ever live without her? Some photos are shot before the dealer installed tint, factory chrome wheels, and clear bra.
