  1. I finally removed my roof rails after 3 years of wanting to do so. This is for a 2007 RX350. Here are some pictures and a procedure for those who may want to do the same. 1. At the rear of the roof rack driver side, grab the rear black covering, lift slightly and pull towards the rear of the car. With some encouragement it will come off. 2. Do the same for the passenger side. 3. Remove the bolt in the pathway that would prevent removal of the rails. Removal of the yellow plastic piece is not necessary. 4. Slide the racks off. 5. Install the rear black covering by sliding it forward. You may have to press or bang the rear of it with your hand to get it all way in. 6. Done!
  2. My dealer told me that the RX350 will automatically adjust the timing depending on the fuel you are using. That being said he also mentioned that using regular would result in lower fuel cost, poorer performance and lower mileage. In the end it may be a wash in terms of cost savings...
  3. My tires were 37 lbs all around right off the lot. Handling was awful. Cornering was an adventure. I uninflated them all to 32 lbs and handling improved immensely.
  4. I have an 07 350 and noted that when I start it up I hear a clacking noise. It sounds like an unlubricated pushrod banging against a rocker arm....I took it to the dealer last week and had a tech listen to it and was told it is completely normal and that the injectors make that noise till they warm up. I'm glad to hear from other owners that this is apparently normal. I guess one question I would ask is...are there any owners who DON'T hear this when they startup up a cold engine? -ursa
  5. Me too. Very first tankful got 22 mpg about 60% highway and 40% city. I suppose this only gets better?...BTW, the NAV mpg is almost dead on to what I calculated manually.
  6. First post... I paid $41,000 for the above. Pick it up next Wed...Can't wait.
