  1. Its also possible that he used a cheap gatorback timing belt from kragens or napa. The timing marks are very hard to align on the cheap timing belts. I recommend a genuine toyota one.
  2. So ive been shopping around for a customer of mine that wants to remove his air shocks and put on standard struts. Ive seen the conversion kits and they look to be cheap quality. I would like to use all lexus parts. So heres the dilema. The strut mounts for a 93 LS w/o air ride has a larger bolt patern than the air ride strut. Does anyone know what strut mount is used for the conversion? Everyone that i called that sells the conversion kit claims its a custom made strut mount. I would hate to buy a conversion kit for the strut mount. Anyone know what year/model strut mount the conversion kit comes with? I ordered a 93 LS mount just to compare and see if it would fit and it does not. Im going to try and measure camrys and other modesl as they come into my shop. Any info would be helpfull. Thanks
